Now that it’s February I am ready for all of the Valentine’s Day recipes! I know, I know, it’s a Hallmark holiday. Whatever. But I still love it all the same. An excuse to consume chocolate? Yes please!

Have you ever seen that movie Valentine’s Day? It’s been out for about a decade now but I still love watching it once a year on or around Valentine’s Day. There are so many big names in the same movie, I find it very fun to watch. Even Mike will watch it with me! Well maybe not now that I just admitted it to the whole world. Errrr, to all two of you who read my blog. Thanks for being here!

I’ve had a bag of frozen organic cherries in my freezer for at least eight months. It takes up a TON of room which is problematic because we have a tiny freezer and we get a Butcher Box shipment roughly once a month. But luckily now that I’m addicted to this protein shake I think I’ll be able to deplete my frozen cherry stash rather quickly. More room for meats!

Mike and I are in full on vacation planning mode. This year is going to be NUTS. We attended a wedding in Florida last weekend. Then in early April we’re heading to New Orleans because my high school BFF is getting married to an awesome guy! Gosh I love them so much. And then I pretty much won’t be working the entire month of July. Mike and I are heading to Ireland and Scotland for about a week. All we know so far is that we want to hike Ben Nevis, Scotland’s highest peak. But what else should we do? Have you ever been to Ireland or Scotland? If so, I need all of the recommendations!

Then Mike will be flying home and I will be flying to London for the Farnborough Air Show for a week. My customers are spread all over the world so I’m really looking forward to meeting them in person and all in one place. After the air show I’ll be flying direct to Miami and meeting up with Mike there and driving down to the Keys because we are attending his friends’ vow renewal the week after the air show. Honestly I’m exhausted just thinking about it all. From the sound of it we won’t have much time for hiking this summer. I guess that’s what we’ll try to do all of August!
