Course: Side Dish
Cuisine: American

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces Brussels sprouts rinsed and dried completely
  • avocado oil spray
  • sea salt to taste
  • 2-3 tbsp local honey

Equipment

  • Air fryer

Method

  1. Cut the stems off of each sprout and cut each sprout in half. Arrange in a single layer in the basket of your air fryer. Spray lightly with avocado oil spray and sprinkle with sea salt. Air fry at 400° F for 12-15 minutes until mostly brown and starting to crisp.
  2. Remove Brussels sprouts from air fryer and place in a large bowl. Add 2-3 tbsp of local honey and toss to coat completely. Place back on the air fryer rack (see Note) and sprinkle a little more sea salt over the sprouts. Air fry at 400° F for 3-5 minutes more. Remove from air fryer, serve hot, and enjoy!

Notes

I put a layer of parchment paper between my honey coated Brussels sprouts and the wire basket just to help with cleanup. I would suggest doing this as well unless your air fryer manufacturer advises against using parchment paper in the air fryer.
